UTP CABLE CAT6 OUTDOOR PER METER

Cat6 Outdoor UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) network cables are specifically designed to withstand environmental elements like direct sunlight, heavy rain, and temperature fluctuations, delivering up to 10 Gbps speeds (up to 55 meters) and 250 MHz bandwidth.

Unlike standard indoor gray or white PVC cables, outdoor Cat6 cables use a rugged, UV-resistant black PE (Polyethylene) double jacket to prevent the casing from becoming brittle, cracking, or taking in moisture over time.

Key Specifications & Built Features

• Dual-Jacket Protection: Features a soft, internal PVC insulation layer shielded by a weather-hardened, thick outer PE jacket.
• Internal Spline (Cross Separator): Includes the traditional Cat6 plastic separator down the center to eliminate crosstalk between the 4 twisted wire pairs, maintaining stable Gigabit speeds over long distances.
• Thicker Conductors: Typically features 23 AWG conductors (around 0.53mm to 0.57mm thickness), providing better power transmission for PoE devices like outdoor security cameras.
• Optional Messenger Wire: Some heavy-duty variants feature an attached steel "messenger wire" designed to take the physical tension off the data cable when hanging it overhead from pole-to-pole (aerial drops)
